I have read several articles from this book stranger in the house of my counter is in April. Seemed to make a great gift for my partner, recently here in Rhode Island, and need some incentive to explore this funky smaller states. This fits perfectly, I think. I have not read most of it, from the date on Amazon, so my analysis is based only on that short experience.

  2. As someone who lives in California, but grew up in Rhode Island, I bought this book a nostalgic smile and for this I was completely satisfied. The author tries to avoid some of the most eccentric RI-obvious. . . Honestly, I bought for the obvious and extravagant. In my case, the whole chapter in the Big Blue Bug and cassert would be nice, but most fall into one or two pages.
